In Memoriam: Edwarda Buda, M.D.- Memorial Service Scheduled for May 16, 2024
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Dr. Edwarda Buda, a remarkable medical doctor, mentor, and Polish-American patriot. She was a lifetime member, Director of the Board, and generous supporter of the Friends of John Paul II Foundation, President of the Polish American Health Association, and Director of the Board of the Polish American Congress, among other notable roles. Her contributions to these organizations and her field of work will always be remembered. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband, Dr. Zbyszek Okreglak, Sister Bozenna Boda, and the family for their profound loss.

- Thursday, May 16th, a visitation at the Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814 from 3 to 5 PM.
- Friday, May 17th, there will be a visitation at Our Lady Queen of Poland Parish, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910, from 9 AM until Mass time at 10 AM.
- Memorial Mass at 10 AM, Friday, May 17th, at Our Lady Queen of Poland Parish, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910
- Interment will follow Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring.
